Lincoln University, PA – February 19, 2025 – The Lincoln University (PA) men's basketball team fell to Bluefield State, 73-62, in CIAA action Wednesday night.
Bakir Cleveland (Newark, N.J./University) led the Lions (15-11, 10-5 CIAA) with 19 points and seven rebounds, while Ethan Garita (Trenton, N.J./Princeton Day School) added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Reggie Hudson (Bronx, N.Y./St. Raymond's) chipped in 12 points, but Lincoln struggled offensively, shooting 40% from the field and committing 15 turnovers.
Despite leading 35-34 at halftime, the Lions couldn't hold off Bluefield State's second-half push.
Lincoln looks to regroup in its regular-season finale against Bowie State on Saturday, February 22, at 4:00 p.m.
