Slippery Rock, Pa. - December 4, 2025 - Lincoln men's basketball fell on the road Thursday night, dropping a 78–66 decision to Slippery Rock inside Morrow Field House. The Lions move to 1–4 on the season.
Kesean Shillingford (Newtown, PA) led the Lions with an efficient and physical performance in the paint, finishing with 17 points and 9 rebounds on 8–13 shooting. Draven Pilson (Winston-Salem, NC) added 15 points, including three made threes, while Julius Olanrewaju (Coalinga, CA) posted 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists in a full-strength effort.
Lincoln controlled the offensive glass with 19 offensive rebounds, converting those opportunities into 17 second-chance points. The Lions also matched Slippery Rock with 32 points in the paint, showing strong interior presence throughout the night.
However, Slippery Rock's perimeter production proved decisive, as the hosts connected on seven three-pointers and finished with 23 assists on 27 made field goals. Lincoln battled back to cut the deficit multiple times in the second half, but Slippery Rock maintained its advantage through timely shot-making.
Bonard Johnson added 7 points and 4 rebounds, while Gian-Paul Anderson (Orlando, FL) recorded 6 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists to round out Lincoln's top contributors.
