INDIANA, Pa. — November 15, 2025 — The Lincoln University men's basketball team dropped its first road contest of the season on Saturday night, falling 82–57 to Indiana University of Pennsylvania at the Kovalchick Complex. The Lions move to 1–1 on the year.
Junior forward Julius Olanrewaju (Coalinga, CA) led Lincoln with an impressive 15-point, 15-rebound double-double, controlling the paint and providing steady interior production. Senior guard Bonard "BJ" Johnson Jr. added 10 points, including a pair of three-pointers.
Lincoln generated 30 points in the paint and grabbed 16 offensive rebounds, but IUP's perimeter shooting proved decisive as the Crimson Hawks knocked down 13 three-pointers and maintained rhythm from long range.
Turnovers hindered the Lions' ability to sustain runs, with 19 giveaways leading to additional scoring chances for IUP. Despite the deficit, Lincoln showed strong stretches in the second half as the group continues to build early-season chemistry.
IUP carried a 44–25 lead into halftime and maintained control the rest of the way, though the Lions continued to compete on the boards and in transition.
