WILMINGTON, Del. – October 4, 2025 – The Lincoln University women's soccer team showed grit and determination on the road Saturday afternoon, falling 7–0 to Wilmington University (Del.) in CACC play.
Goalkeeper Nevaeh Washington (Philadelphia, PA) continued to be a bright spot for the Lions, recording eight saves, including six in the second half, against one of the top offenses in the conference. The performance marked her third straight match with at least seven stops.
Offensively, Jenesis Kitchen (Baltimore, MD) and Sahida Dumbuya (Freetown, Sierra Leone) each registered a shot on goal, while Ricyonna Walker (Kingston, Jamaica) and Briana Poullard (Elkton, MD) played solid minutes on the back line to help contain Wilmington's attack.
The Lions (0-7-1, 0-5-0 CACC) continue their conference slate on Wednesday, October 8, traveling to Georgian Court University for a 3 p.m. kickoff in Lakewood, N.J.
