LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – October 30, 2025 – Lincoln University Director of Athletics and Recreational Services Harry Stinson III has announced the appointment of Alishia Mosley as the Interim Head Women's Basketball Coach for the 2025–26 season.

"We are honored to welcome Alishia Mosley back to Lincoln University as Interim Head Women's Basketball Coach," said Stinson. "Her deep-rooted understanding of our institution, her embodiment of our culture of excellence, and her connection to the proud legacy of our program make her uniquely positioned to lead at this pivotal moment. We are confident that Coach Mosley will not only elevate our competitive spirit this season but also nurture the growth of our student-athletes and coaching staff, inspiring a new chapter of achievement and integrity."

Mosley returns to Lincoln University with a strong history of success and familiarity within the program. She previously served as an assistant women's basketball coach from 2017 to 2021 and spent the 2021–22 season with the men's basketball program as an assistant coach.

Before her return, Mosley spent the past three seasons at Cheyney University (2022–2025), where she helped guide the women's basketball program to its most wins since 2001, marking a significant step forward for the Wolves.

A proud graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, where she competed as a student-athlete during the 2014–15 season, Mosley has a longstanding commitment to HBCU athletics. Her coaching style emphasizes defensive intensity, fast-paced play, and holistic player development, while her passion for mentorship has made her a respected figure among student-athletes and peers alike.

Prior to entering the collegiate coaching ranks, Mosley spent two years (2015–2017) training professional players and studying the game from a developmental lens, experiences that continue to shape her approach on and off the court.

Mosley expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to return home, saying:

"I live every day by the motto learn, earn, return. I want to learn about my players, the school, and the CIAA again; earn the respect of those around me; and return the love and support that people have shown me throughout my journey. I want to be a vessel for these young individuals helping them grow, compete, and become better people through this game."

The Lions open the regular season against Millersville University and Shippensburg College in the PSAC/CIAA Challenge on November 14–15.
