CALDWELL, N.J. – October 22, 2025 – The Lincoln University (PA) women's soccer team showed toughness and determination on the road Wednesday afternoon, falling 4–1 to Caldwell University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
Freshman Shealyn Oakes (Waldorf, MD) continued her strong offensive form, scoring her second goal of the season in the 78th minute off a pass from Agustina Lorda (Montevideo, UR). The strike capped a solid second-half push for the Lions, who created multiple late chances against a disciplined Caldwell defense.
In goal, Nevaeh Washington (Philadelphia, PA) was outstanding once again, tallying 11 saves — her sixth game this season with double-digit stops. Defensively, Jenesis Kitchen (Baltimore, MD), Briana Poullard (Elkton, MD), and Ricyonna Walker (Kingston, Jamaica) anchored the back line, while Nia Miller (Alexandria, VA) and Justyce King (Menifee, CA) helped generate pressure up the field.
The Lions (0-11-1, 0-8-0 CACC) now turn their attention to a home conference matchup on Friday, October 24, hosting Jefferson University at 1 p.m. in Lincoln University, Pa.
