Raleigh, NC- September 21, 2024 - The Lincoln University (PA) Football team ended up losing on the road in their match up with Shaw University, the final score for the game was 14-48.
 
The Shaw Bears played aggressively to start the game as the offense put up 35 points to end the first half, Lincoln was unable to turn the table in the second although the team had two touchdowns to end the night.  
 
On defense the Lions were led by Maleek Robinson () who had nine tackles with seven solo tackles and two assists, while Jahad Green (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro High School) followed Robinson with seven solo tackles as well and no assists.
 
On the offensive side of the ball, it was Breon Simms () and Amir Gerald (Washington, D.C./Woodrow Wilson High School) who scored for the Lions as Simms had one rushing touchdown and Gerald had one passing the ball. The team was led in rushing by Ahmad Dixon () who rushed for 70 yards on five attempts.
 
The Lincoln University (PA.) football team will be at home for their home opener against Livingstone College on September 28,2024 starting at 1 p.m. at LU Athletics Stadium.
