Staten Island, NY – December 13, 2024 – The Lincoln University (PA) track and field team impressed at the Seahawk Shootout, held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. Both the men's and women's teams showcased their talent with standout performances in the 300-meter dash.

For the men, sophomore Asad Reese (Philadelphia,PA/Imhotep) led the way, finishing 8th overall with a time of 34.80 seconds. Freshman Malachi Williams (Washington, DC/Coolidge HS) followed with a strong 17th-place finish at 35.69 seconds, while senior Nasir Scott (Levittown, Pa./Harriet Tubman) clocked 36.03 seconds to claim 25th place.

On the women's side, senior Kamani Johns (Chester, Pa./Chester) shined with a 5th-place finish, recording a time of 39.23 seconds in a competitive field. Freshman Leannah Jordan (Montclair, NJ/Montclair HS) delivered a solid performance, placing 24th in 41.90 seconds, while freshman Sabianka Alexis (Brooklyn,NY/New Visions Charter HS for Advanced Math and Science) ran 42.84 seconds to secure 36th place. Sophomore Paris Talley (Philadelphia,PA/West Catholic HS) rounded out the results for the Lions, finishing 44th with a time of 43.53 seconds.

The Lions' strong showing at the Seahawk Shootout highlights their depth and potential as they continue to build momentum for the rest of the indoor track season.
