Wilmington, DE, October 24, 2024 - The Lincoln University (PA) women's volleyball team fell to Goldey-Beacom in three sets with final scores of 8-25,16-25,21-25.
 
It was a well-played game for the Lions as the team was able to keep the game close during last set with a early run to start the set, this run would turn out to not be enough Goldey-Beacom was able to come back late to win the match.
 
The team was led by Freshman Elise Carter (Smyrna, DE/Smyrna HS) in kills with seven while Kendra Williams (Dover, Del./Dover) was behind her with three kills.
 
On defense Davion Blanchard (New Castle, Pa./New Castle) led the team with six digs while Jaida Lumpkin (Middletown, Del./Middletown) and Carter finished with two blocks.
 
The Lincoln University (PA) women's volleyball team will be on the road for their next match up as they compete in the CIAA roundup #2 once again on October 26-27, 2024, on Saturday and Sunday.
