-
David Esteves (Philadelphia, Penn./Olney Charter) and Conner Jones (Chesapeake, Va./Grassfield) did all they could in the opener to allow LU to stay within striking distance as the former pitched six innings of two-run, six strikeout baseball while the latter gave up just one over two frames.
-
Just two student-athletes logged multiple hits as Josiah Bowles (Plant City, Fla./Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy) did so with two singles in the first contest and Miguel Agramonte (Fallston, Md./Fallston) had a single plus a double in the nightcap.
