PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania softball program jumped out to a pair of 1-0, top of the first inning leads courtesy of two Tia Brown (Newark, N.Y./Newark) swings but was outscored 8-1 over the other 12 frames during a doubleheader sweep at the paws of the Tigers, 4-2 and 4-1.

Technically, Chloe Foster (Dresher, Pa./Upper Dublin) pitched a complete game shutout in game two with six scoreless innings where she allowed five hits and two walks with four strikeouts, unfortunately, she came on after four runs had already crossed the plate with no outs recorded.

Amaya Townsend (Port Jervis, N.Y./Port Jervis) went 3-of-3 plus a triple in the opener, Aliya Rose (Lutherville, Md./Maryvale Preperatory) scattered three singles as well as a steal across the day, and Leinayiah Jex (Silver Spring, Md./John F. Kennedy) swiped two bases during the front half of the twin bill.
