PHILADELPHIA, PA (November 28, 2023)- The Lincoln University Lions men's basketball team came up short, 89-60, against the Jefferson Rams on Tuesday evening.

FIRST HALF
- From the opening tip-off, the Lions capitalized off of back to back Jefferson turnovers to give LU a 4-0 lead.
- Lincoln stayed consistent with a combination of baskets, as the Rams battled to close the scoring gap.
- The game took a turn with the score tied, 13-all, with 15:00 left in the half.
- As the Rams went on an extensive run, the Lions could not keep up as they missed several baskets.
- At the end of the 1st half, LU trailed, 46-20.
SECOND HALF
- The Lions battled to gain momentum in the 2nd half, but their efforts were challenged by the Rams offense.
- LU continued to play hard until the final buzzer sounded to end regulation.
- The clock became LU's adversary, as they final score ruled in favor of the Jefferson Rams, 89-60.
LION LEADERS
- Reggie Hudson (Bronx, N.Y./St. Raymond's) led the Lions in scoring with 12 points.
- Also scoring in double digits were Peter Sorber (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic) (10 points) and Bakir Cleveland (Newark, N.J./University) (10 points).
- Sorber controlled Lincoln's boards with 6 rebounds, while Hudson led the team with 6 assists.
UP NEXT
The Lions will host the Wolves of Cheyney University on Friday, December 1. Tip-off is set for 7:30pm in Manuel Rivero Gymnasium.
