Lincoln University Director of Athletics and Recreational Services
Harry Stinson III has named
Sal Minor as the Interim Head Women's Soccer Coach for the 2022 season.
Minor replaces Emmanuel Awotula, who recently resigned to pursue other professional opportunities.
"We are excited to welcome Coach Minor to the department in a full-time capacity," said Stinson. "His dedication in a volunteer role, along with his soccer acumen and expertise, gave us a great amount of comfort in his ability to lead the women's soccer program in the upcoming season.
"We would also like to thank Coach E for his tireless dedication to Lincoln University and its women's soccer program," Stinson continued.
Minor joined the women's soccer program prior to the 2022 season. He came from NCAA Division III Wesley College, where he was the goalkeeper coach. Additionally, he served as the head boys soccer coach at Lake Forest High School.
Minor's coaching background also includes stops at First State Military Academy, Delaware Union and Coastal Atlantic Futbul Club.
He is a licensed U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) coach and holds NSCAA Level 1 goalkeeper diploma, NSCAA Level 1 Futsal Diploma, FA Level 1 talent identification certificate, and is pursuing his D License.
