Lincoln University, Pa. – The Lincoln Women's Soccer Team will seek their first East coast conference win of the season Saturday afternoon when they host Saint Thomas Aquinas College at Lions Stadium. Saturday's game is Senior Day for the women's soccer team and they will honor their seniors in a brief ceremony prior to the start of the contest.

THE SERIES
This will be the seventh meeting between these two programs. STAC has won the previous six contests in the series which dates back to the 2013 season.
SENIOR DAY
The Lincoln University women's soccer program is proud to recognize five seniors on this year's squad:
Cydney Barry (New York, N.Y./DeWitt Clinton (Monroe College))- transferred to Lincoln after spending two years at Monroe College in New York. She has appeared in 19 games as a defender over the two seasons before an injury ended her season last month.
Catera Simpson (Clinton, Md./Surratsville) – Has appeared in 22 games as a defender over the past two seasons. Recorded an assist last season against Mercy College.
Anonda O'Brien (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern Regional) – A four-year player for the Lions who started 42 games as a defender in her first three seasons before an injury ended her 2019 campaign.
Tara Brookins (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Twp.) – One of three four-year players being honored by the Lions. Brookins season was also cut short by an injury this year. She appeared in 42 games over her career, mostly as a mid fielder. Scored three goals in 2017 and one her freshman year in 2016.
Lena Rodriguez (Lockport, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) – A four year starting goalkeeper for Lincoln. Lena has played every minute of the season in goal this year. She currently holds a total of eight Lincoln single game, season or career goalkeeping records and can add 1-3 more before she finishes her career. Over her four seasons she has played more games and more minutes than any goalkeeper in the history of the program. She is the first Lions goalkeeper to have 500 or more career saves and will finish her career ranked in the top ten all-time in every single goalkeeping statistical category.
LIONS HIGHLIGHTS
Lincoln enters the contest with a 1-8 overall record and an 0-4 mark in ECC games. With injuries plaguing the team all year, Lincoln has played shorthanded in the majority of their games this season, suiting up only ten players for several matches.
Lena Rodriguez (Lockport, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) recorded her 500
th career save in the Lions loss at Queens College last Wednesday, finishing the game with 23. The 23 saves are the second-highest single game mark in NCAA Division II this season, behind the 24 saves Rodriguez had one game earlier against Roberts Wesleyan College.
Lincoln's lone win was a 5-1 decision over University of Valley Forge on Tuesday. The win was the Lions first since October 2016 which also came against Valley Forge.
Kenya Davis (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo) scored three times against UVF and now has six goals for the season.
Tamara Evans (Clayton, Del./Smyrna) scored twice against the Patriots and had an assist while
Cedar Davidson (Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada/Aurora) added an assist in the win over the Patriots.
Davis is averaging 0.67 goals/per game to rank 46
th among NCAA D2 players.
Rodriguez is currently leads the ECC and NCAA Division II in total saves with 134 in her first nine games this season. She is averaging 14.89 saves per game. (2nd in NCAA D2). Rodriguez is currently the career saves leaders among active players with 502
The Lions as a team also lead NCAA Division II in saves per game (14.89).
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
The Spartans are 0-10-1 overall on the season and 0-4-1 in ECC games. STAC has lost their last four games following a 0-0 tie with Roberts Wesleyan.

Three different players have one goal apiece for the Spartans, who have tallied just three goals in their first 11 games. The STAC defense has allowed 30 scores and has given up three or fewer goals in nine of their 11 contests.
Colleen Stevens has appeared in nine games as goalkeeper for the Spartans and has 44 saves.
