roLincoln University begins conference volleyball play this weekend in the CIAA North Division Round-Up.
 
The Lions will host face three CIAA teams from the Southern Division. On Saturday, September 8, the Lions will take on Winston Salem State at noon and Johnson C. Smith at 3 p.m.  On Sunday September 9, they meet Livingstone at noon.
  
In 2017, Lincoln lost to all three of their 2018 opponents in this weekend's roundup.
 
After two matches this season, Tierra Russaw (Westland , Mich./Summit Academy) leads the Lions with eight kills while Alisa foster leads the team with 17 assists and 22 digs.  Tymera Crudup (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat) has 18 digs and Kaiya Lewis (Woodhaven, N.Y./Queens Preparatory Academy) leads the team with seven blocks.
