The Lincoln University women's soccer team lost their second match of the season, falling to Holy Family University 8-0 on Saturday at Lions Stadium.

The game was originally scheduled to be played on the Tigers home field but was moved to Lincoln due to field conditions. The Lions fall to 0-2 with the loss. Holy Family is 1-0 with the win.

Lincoln's only three shots of the game came in the first half with Holy Family outshooting the Lions 11-3 in the period and 20-3 for the game.

The Tigers scored four goals in each half with six different players scoring throughout the contest. Bree Rock and Jaclyn Ziegler led Holy Family with two goals apiece.

Alana Ward (Holly Springs, N.C./Trotwood Madison (Ohio)) took the loss in net while playing the first half. Brianna Pudlo earned the win for the Tigers.

The Lions return to action on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 when they travel to Philadelphia to take on Chestnut Hill College. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
