Box Score The Lincoln University women's soccer team, coming off a win in their last match, struggled from the opening kickoff on Sunday, losing to Georgian Court University 10-0 in Lakewood, New Jersey in the "Battle of the Lions."

Lincoln falls to 2-11 while Georgian Court improves to 11-3-1.  This was the sixth meeting between these two "Lions" with Lincoln's best showing coming in 2013 (a 2-2 double overtime tie at home).
 
Georgian Court outshot Lincoln 45-4, with all four shots by LU taken by senior Tamara Greene (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway).  Two of the four were on goal.  Freshman goalkeeper Lena Rodriguez (Chicago, Ill./Joliet Catholic) had 17 saves.  The Lions got goals from eight different players.
 
LU's next opponent is Trinity College on October 26,2016.  Kickoff is 4:00 pm at the LU Football Stadium.
