RALEIGH, N.C. - Junior Emily Woodruff (San Diego, CA/Madison HS) hit her first home run of the season against the Lady Falcons of St. Augustine's University at the 2015 CIAA Softball Roundup.
 
The Lady Lions began their 2015 CIAA Softball Roundup games against St. Augustine's on Saturday, March 21st at the Walnut Creek Complex. In the third inning, catcher Emily Woodruff (San Diego, CA/Madison HS) hit her second home run of her career but first of the season putting the Lady Lions on the scoreboard after trailing 15-0.
 
Lincoln had only two hits against St. Augustine's as outfielder Kawren Scott (Oberlin, OH/Oberlin HS) singled in the second inning along with Woodruff's homer. The Lady Falcons finished with 23 hits for 25 runs while LU pitcher Ashley Juma (Bradywine, MD/Fairmount Heights HS) struck out one batter and surrendered only five walks.
 
The Lady Lions loss 25-1 to St. Augustine's in the first game at the CIAA Softball Roundup and prepared for the Lady Bears of Shaw University.
