Millersville Upends Lady Lions Soccer

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Lincoln was issued a 12-0 loss at home against Millersville University on Sunday, October 19th at LU Stadium.

The Lady Lions allowed Millersville to score three goals in the first half but nine more goals was scored in the second half. LU goalkeeper Kaylee Dennis (Ashburn, VA/Broad Run HS) recorded a season-high 21 saves after facing 50 total shots by the Mauraders.

Lincoln had two shots in the first period and three in the second period led by Tamara Greene (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway HS). Greene recorded the only shot on goal for the Lady Lions against Millersville.

This was Lincoln's third consecutive loss and they fall to a 2-11 overall record. Their next game is at home on Wednesday, October 21st against Shippensburg University at 4 p.m.
