th. Sophomore
Dena Ingraham (Nassau, Bahamas/Kingsway Academy) scored a goal in the 15
th minute via an assist from senior
Tara O'Brien (Twickenham London, UK/St. Mark's Catholic School).
The Lady Lions dominated the match with a 12-4 advantage on shots attempted over the Hawks. Sophomores
Christian Harris (Rochester, NY/The Aquinas Institute) and
Alanna Van Ness (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway HS) along with senior
Tara O'Brien (Twickenham London, UK/St. Mark's Catholic School) all had two shot attempts while several others recorded one attempt. O'Brien fired two shots on goal and garnered an assist in the 15
th minute setting up
Dena Ingraham (Nassau, Bahamas/Kingsway Academy) for an early Lady Lions score.
Goalkeepers
Christian Harris (Rochester, NY/The Aquinas Institute) and junior
Emily Woodruff (San Diego, CA/Madison HS) split time protecting the net from the Hawks. Each keeper had two saves and Lincoln picked up their first win of the season.
Lincoln moves to 1-0-1 in the 2014 season and will next play Saint Thomas Aquinas on September 10
th in Sparkhill, NY at 3 p.m.
