Despite a crushing road defeat in their season finale the Lions produced season-best marks behind a powerful rushing game by junior running back
Stephen Scott (Baltimore, MD/Bethel College). Scott set new records at The Lincoln University with the most rushing carries in a single game (30) and the most rushing yards in a single game (176). In the third quarter Scott exploded for a season-long 56-yard touchdown cutting into the Chowan lead, 22-20.
Lincoln tallied a season-best 416 yards of total offense against Chowan with 215 rushing yards and 201 passing yards. Scott carried the rushing load while quarterback
Edward McKenzie (Paterson, NJ/Lackwanna College) passed for a career-best 20 completions for 201 total yards and a pair of touchdowns.
McKenzie's first touchdown gave the Lions an early 7-0 lead on their opening possession. Senior wide receiver
Anthony Green (Chester, PA/Upper Darby HS) caught a 29-yard strike from McKenzie capping an eight play 53 yard drive. Lincoln tossed their second touchdown on their opening drive of the third quarter. A dual rushing attack by McKenzie and Scott guided the Lions down the field setting up a 12-yard touchdown reception by senior wide receiver
Brakeem Jackson (Philadephia, PA/University City HS).
The Lions scored 13 points in the third quarter but Chowan responded with four rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter sealing the win, 50-20 over Lincoln. The Lions conclude their 2014 season with a 1-9 overall record and 0-7 in CIAA play.
Juniors

Edward McKenzie (Paterson, NJ/Lackwanna College) had career-best games giving Lions fans a positive glimpse of the future.
Stephen Scott (Baltimore, MD/Bethel College) set a new single-season rushing record at The Lincoln University with 956 rushing yards in the 2014 season. Scott averaged 95.6 rushing yards per game in ten starts for the Lions with three touchdowns. McKenzie played in the last five games of the season and had five passing touchdowns.
Sophomore wide receiver
Larquise Hobbs (Lansing, MI/J.W. Sexton HS) had a career-best game with seven catches against Chowan. Freshman
Emmanuel Saint-Jean (Silver Spring, MD/John F. Kennedy HS) had a season-best five receptions for 56 yards.
Anthony Green (Chester, PA/Upper Darby HS) finished with three catches for 40-yards and
Brakeem Jackson (Philadephia, PA/University City HS) had two catches for 30-yards.
Junior
Brion Robinson (Silver Spring, MD/Springbrook HS) led the defense with nine solo tackles. Senior defensive lineman
Carl Richardson (Daytona Beach, FL/Atlantic HS) posted seven tackles while sophomore linebacker
Wadel Louis (Miami, FL/North Miami Beach HS) had six. Sophomore defensive back
Dezman Ellis (Bowie, MD/DeMatha Catholic HS) finished with two tackles, a sack, forced fumble, and fumble recovery for the defense.
