LAFEYETTE HILL, Pa. – The Lions scored two goals in the first half and played well defensively led by sophomore goalkeeper Christian Harris (Rochester, NY/The Aquinas Institute)' in a 2-1 road victory over Chestnut Hill College on Tuesday, September 30th.

Lincoln opened up strong firing nine shots against Chestnut Hill in the first half. The Lions were rewarded when senior Tara O'Brien (Twickenham London, UK/St. Mark's Catholic School) hit a long-high kick over the goalkeeper from straight on for her sixth goal of the season to give the Lions a 1-0 advantage in the 40th minute. Moments later, sophomore Tamara Greene (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway HS) secured the possession off of the Griffins kickoff and scored a goal from 30-yards out on the left side extending the Lincoln lead to 2-0. Greene's goal was her third of the season and gave the Lions a comfortable lead at the break.

In the second half, the Lions showed out defensively with four key saves by goalkeeper Christian Harris (Rochester, NY/The Aquinas Institute).
