Box Score Lincoln University, PA – Lincoln forced 28 turnovers that led to 34-points in a 69-48 victory over St. Augustine's on Saturday, January 11^th in Manuel Rivero Hall. George Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS) recorded his fourth 20+ point performance of the season, leading the Lions scoring 21 points, with five steals, and four assists.

Lincoln's defense forced 10 turnovers in the first half resulting to 17 points for their offense, as the Lions led the Falcons for all 40-minutes in a dominating performance for their second straight CIAA win at home. Lincoln remains unbeaten in Manuel Rivero Hall with an 8-0 record this season.

Senior George Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS) had four steals and 11 points to pace the Lions in the opening half. Jackson made all four of his free-throws while junior Tony Efese (Spring Valley, NY/St. Joseph Regional HS) went 7-for-8 from the line for the Lions that converted on 14-of-18 attempts. St. Augustine's was held to only six free-throw attempts and scoreless from three-point range (0-7).Sophomore  James Stewart (Washington, DC/Charles Herbert Flowers HS),  senior Justin Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS), and his brother George Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS) each nailed a three-pointer and the Lions led 41-26, at the half over the Falcons.

Head Coach John Hill and his Lions held the Falcons to only six field-goals in the second half and forced 18 turnovers. Lincoln had nine steals behind junior Daniel Pendleton (Philadephia, PA/MCSCS)'s three and senior Stefan Whittinghman's two that led to 17 second half points. George Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS) paced the Lions with 10 points, while Stefan Whittingham (Fort Lauderdale, FL/Fort Lauderdale HS) added six points, and Tony Efese (Spring Valley, NY/St. Joseph Regional HS) had five points. Lincoln led by as much as 30 points in the final half and cruised to a 69-48 victory.

Ten Lions scored against the Falcons led by George Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS). Jackson recorded his fourth 20+ point performance of the season, leading the Lions scoring 21 points, with five steals, and four assists. Tony Efese (Spring Valley, NY/St. Joseph Regional HS) had 14 points with five rebounds and James Stewart (Washington, DC/Charles Herbert Flowers HS) led the bench with seven points and Stefan Whittingham (Fort Lauderdale, FL/Fort Lauderdale HS) had six points. Senior Chris Kinney (Washington, DC/Theodore Roosevelt SHS) grabbed five defensive rebounds and freshman Timothy McKenzie (Central Islip, NY/Central Islip HS) had two offensive rebounds.

The Lions are off to their best start in school history with an 11-3 overall record. Lincoln improves to 3-2 in CIAA conference play and will host Shaw University on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in Manuel Rivero Hall.
