Ursinus College Invitational Results
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – It was a banner day for the Lincoln University men's track & field team as the Lions open the outdoor season with a victory at the Ursinus College Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
“Our men must bring their 'A' game and learn to compete under any conditions,” Lincoln head coach Rafeal “Ray” Williams said. “Unlike our ladies, our guys had a hard time focusing on being truly competitive. We left some good performances on the track today and I'm not happy about that. We must be more discipline and learn to compete to failure if we want to end our season in Pueblo, Colo., this spring.”
The Lions won the meet with 118.50 points. Stockton took second with 108 points, followed by Ursinus (99), Lebanon Valley (92.5), Alvernia (68), Delaware TC (44), Immaculata (24), Manhattanville (16), Widener (10), Albright (4) and Neumann (1).
Matthew Huckabee (Erial, N.J./Timber Creek HS) picked up where he left off during the indoor season as he won the Shot Put with a throw of 15.57 Meters (51-01.00).
