Whittingham’s 22 Leads Lincoln to Victory Over Mansfield, 73-52

Box Score Lincoln University, PA – Stefan Whittingham (Fort Lauderdale, FL/Fort Lauderdale HS) had a career-night scoring 22 points leading the Lions to a 73-52 victory over Mansfield University on Tuesday, November 26. Lincoln's bench exploded for 52 points outscoring Mansfield's bench by 33 points.
 
The LU bench dominated the game between the Lions and the Mountaineers. Stefan Whittingham (Fort Lauderdale, FL/Fort Lauderdale HS) made eight shots from the field and was a perfect 5-5 from the free-throw line. Whittingham also drained his first three-pointer of the year against the Mountaineers leading the bench with 22 points.
 
Derrick Washington (Washington, DC/Coolidge SHS) was the other Lion to net double figure scoring with 11 points. Washington also had three assists with three rebounds from the LU bench. James Stewart (Washington, DC/Charles Herbert Flowers HS) made two three-pointers as he finished with nine points and three assists and Will Cole (Newark, NJ/Cesar Chavez HS) added six points and a team-high nine rebounds.
 
The Lincoln starters were led by Tony Efese (Spring Valley, NY/St. Joseph Regional HS)'s eight rebounds and George Jackson (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor HS) had six points with three assists. Lincoln grabbed a season-high 41 rebounds against Mansfield. The Lions
 
The Lincoln University moves to a 4-1 overall record and will host Cheyney University on Saturday, November 30 in Manuel Rivero Hall.
