Lincoln University, PA -The Lincoln University women's volleyball team suffered a three-set (25-20, 25-19 and 25-23) sweep to Chowan University on Monday, October 14.
Senior
Cynthia Johnson (Randallstown, MD/Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) and sophomore
Jillian Lee (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Poly Institute) recorded six kills each as they amassed more than half of the Lady Lions' 19 overall kills. Johnson also recorded three serving aces while
Sydney Cook (Portland, OR/Cleveland HS) had two aces.
Freshman
Shanna King (Newark, NJ/University High School) led Lincoln in assists as she set up her teammates 15 times.
Sophomore
Sydney Cook (Portland, OR/Cleveland HS) set the tone defensively for the Lady Lions as she gathered a game-high in digs for the second straight game with 20. Freshman
Kyra Orton (Detroit, MI/Renaissance HS) also had 11 digs herself.
Chowan's Kelsey Schlake led the game in assists with 28.
