Box Score WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Lincoln University volleyball team concluded the CIAA Round-up with a 3-1 loss to Livingstone College on Sunday morning at Winston-Salem State University.
 
The Lady Lions (1-11 overall, 1-9 CIAA) dropped the first two sets with scores of 25-17, 25-17, but rallied with a 26-24 victory to force of fourth set. However, Livingstone held off a late charge to earn the 25-20 win.
 
Cynthia Johnson (Randallstown, MD/Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) and Jillian Lee (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Poly Institute) each recorded nine kills, while Briana McKellery (Odenton, MD/Arundel HS) added seven. Erica McClain (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett HS) added 25 assists and 10 digs. Sydney Cook (Portland, OR/Cleveland HS) finished with a team-high 21 digs and Johnson added 15.
 
Lincoln returns to CIAA Northern Division play 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 4 at Manuel Rivero Gymnasium against Virginia State University.
