THE EVENT: The Lions and Thorobreds each are seeking their first win of the season.
 
Lincoln comes into the contest after falling to Football Championship Subdivision member Wofford College, 82-0. Meanwhile, Kentucky State enters off a 13-6 loss to Kentucky Wesleyan.
 
Against Division Wofford, the Lions were able to move the football after falling behind early, but couldn't put up any points.
