Box Score MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Cynthia Johnson (Randallstown, MD/Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) had six kills as the Lincoln University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Chowan in a CIAA Northern Division showdown at the Helms Center on Monday night.
 
The Lady Hawks (13-5 overall, 11-1 CIAA) took the match with scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-21.
 
Johnson's five kills paced the Lincoln offense and she also added 11 digs. Erica McClain (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett HS) finished with 11 assists and 10 digs, and Sydney Cook (Portland, OR/Cleveland HS) chipped with 11 digs.
 
Lincoln (1-14, 1-12) concludes its three-match road trip with a 7 p.m., contest on Thursday, Oct. 11 against rival Cheyney University.
