Opening day of CIAA Round-up rained out (Updated schedule)

Action for the landmark weekend begins Saturday at 8 a.m. because of the rain.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. (April 8, 2011) — The opening day of this weekend's CIAA Tennis Round-up has been rained out. The schedule will be compacted into Saturday and Sunday.

The contests between the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association's (CIAA) Northern division teams begins at 8 a.m. The matches will be played at Oxford Area High School, Avon Grove High School and Penns Grove Middle School.

Once the first serve is delivered, it will mark the first time any Lincoln sport has hosted a multi-University CIAA field and provide an unprecedented opportunity for the the university, the conference and the community to showcase themselves.
