Lincoln ends season with loss to Wesley

DOVER, Del.  — The Lincoln University women's soccer team ended the season Monday night with a 10-0 loss to Wesley College.
 
The Wolverines (7-10) struck with the opening goal just 14 seconds into the match as Chelsi Biener assisted on Kim Fearnbach's goal. Fifty-nine seconds after the first goal, Wesley added to the lead as Fearnbach headed home a Kelly Edmunds pass to give the Wolverines a 2-0 advantage.
 
Fearnbach picked up her third goal in the ninth minute off an assist by Biener to extend the lead to 3-0. Kelly Edmunds and a pair of goals by Lacey Smith increased the margin to 6-0,
 
Wesley added four more goals in the second half to get the win.
 
Sima Sinforosa finished with 12 saves for the Lady Lions (1-12-1), while Sydney Kahan had two saves for the Wolverines.
