MURFRESBORO, N.C. —  The Lady Lions were unable to sustain the momentum gathered by the exhilirating win Thursday against Bowie State, dropping a pair of 3-0 decisions to Chowan University and North Greenville University.

Against the Hawks, Noel Webster (Hagerstown, Md./Elkton) had a team-high seven kills while setter Sharay DuBose(Salisbury, Md./Parkside) had six assists. Morris(San Bernardino, Calif./San Gorgino) played well defensively with 14 digs in the 12-25, 14-25, 16-25 loss.

In the second match against North Greenville, Webster again led LU, this time with six kills, and Hubbard (Farrell, Pa./Farrell) had four assists to go along with Dubose's nine.
