LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. — The Lincoln University softball team has postponed its doubleheader versus Shaw University, scheduled for Monday, April 5. It has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 7, with first pitch set for 3 p.m. at the Oxford Athletic Association.

On 2 p.m. Tuesday, Lincoln University will Strike Out Cancer as part of a doubleheader against Virginia Union University at the Oxford Athletic Association. To bring awareness to the disease that has touched so many, the Lady Lions plan to sport pink game shirts and shoelaces.

Strike Out Cancer is a national initiative aimed to raise money for cancer research and for the families touched by the disease. Throughout the twin bill, LU will be fundraising for the cause.

Prior to the start of the second game, LU Athletics Administrative Assistant Linda Peterson and Mail & Copy Center Employee Kelly Griffith will be honored as survivors.
