LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa.  — The Lincoln University volleyball team suffered a tough loss Tuesday night at Manuel Rivero Hall going up against the Kutztown University Lady Golden Bears, falling 0-3.

The Lady Golden Bears used an aggressive service game to take the victory 5-25, 14-25, and 10-25.  Leading the way for the Lady Lions were senior Kenyatta Austin (NJ/I.C.H.S) who contributed with 2 kills and 6 defensive digs. Fellow senior Noel Webster (Hagerston, MD/Elkton) chipped in with 4 kills and an assist. Junior Lia Hubbard (Farrell, PA/Farrell ) showed solid effort with 5 assists.

For the Lady Lions, they rode the wave of Katie Miller and Kelsea Ashworth who both had 5 kills. Lindsey Smith proved to be formidable with 11 service aces. 

The loss puts the Lady Lions at a record of 1-4. They are back at again on Wednesday as they host Philadelphia University. Action is slated for 7:00 p.m.
