PHOENIXVILLE, Pa.  – Sophomore forward Stephanie Anderson (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area HS) (Coatesville, Pa.) scored two goals in Lincoln's 3-1 win over Valley Forge Christian College Wednesday afternoon.

Charlise Cunningham (Long Island, NY/Bayshore) (Bay Shore, N.Y.) netted a goal early in the first half to give the Lady Lions a 1-0 lead. Anderson would score shortly for a comfortable 2-0 advantage. Valley Forge cut the deficit in half before the half, but any momentum ceased when Anderson found mesh a second time in the second half.

Anderson leads Lincoln with six goals thus far in 2009.

With the win, Lincoln improves to 3-7 and travels to Trinity Washington University Saturday, Oct. 3.
