LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Lincoln University dropped its contest with West Chester University (8-4) Wednesday night at Manuel Rivero Hall, falling 12-25, 16-25, 8-25 and drop to 5-12 on the year.

Defensively, the Lady Lions could not match up with the tandem of Michelle Powers and Helen Fitzpatrick. Patrick boomed 17 kills to just five errors while Fitzpatrick tallied 22 assists.

Offensively, the Lincoln offense ran through Lia Hubbard (Farrell, PA/Farrell ) (Farrell, Pa.) and her nine assists. Noel Webster (Hagerston, MD/Elkton) (Hagerstown, Md.) had a team-high five kills with Nekia Morris (San Bernadino, CA/San Gorgonio) (San Bernardino, Calif.) contributing four.

The Lady Lions resume CIAA play Thursday when they travel to Richmond, Va., to face Virginia Union.
