Charity Hart (Richmond, VA/Highland Springs) (Richmond, Va.) recorded 12 kills and eight digs Wednesday night as the Lincoln volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Bowie State by scores of 22-25, 32-30, 22, 25, 20-25.
The second game provided drama, as both teams valiantly fought off game points. It finally came to a close when Breaun Garner had an attack error for Bowie State, giving Lincoln win.
The remaining two games proved competitive as well, but Bowie State retained control to take the victory in four games.
Once again,
Nekia Morris (San Bernadino, CA/San Gorgonio) (San Bernardino, Calif.) paced Lincoln with a team-high 15 kills and 11 digs, while Hart was right behind with 12 and eight, respectively.
Noel Webster (Hagerston, MD/Elkton) (Hagerstown, Md.) had six kills for the Lady Lions.
JaTyra Heath provided 18 kills for the Lady Bulldogs (2-16)
With the loss, Lincoln drops to 6-14 and 3-2 in the CIAA. The month-long stretch on the road continues Friday with a visit to Cheyney University.
