NORTH WALES, PA. (March 27, 2008) -- Joe Kruemmer (Middletown, DE/Hodgson Vo-Tech) reached base four times to lead Lincoln during a 17-0 defeat to Chestnut Hill College Thursday evening. (BOXSCORE)
Kruemmer had two of Lincoln's five hits. Also recording hits for Lincoln (1-16-1) were Peter S. Reyes (Bronx, NY/Environmental Studies), Josh Graber (Baltimore, MD/Our Lady of Mt. Carmel) and Josiah Barnes (Philadelphia, PA/Overbrook), who doubled. Kruemmer also struck out four batters. Melvin Robinson (Wilmington, DE/William Penn) had a stolen base for the Lions.
Chestnut Hill (5-10) got four hits from George Kochu. The Griffins scored five runs in the bottom of third inning to take control of the game. Chestnut Hill scored three runs in the seventh and eighth innings to put the game away.
Lincoln returns to action Saturday afternoon when it travels to Saint Paul's College for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader.
