The visiting Lions finished their 2007-08 season with a record of 7-17 overall. This was Lincoln's first year of transitioning from Division III to Division II and the first meeting in school history between LU and JCSU.

The Golden Bulls (19-8) made 44 percent of their shots (33-for-75) for the game and carried a 46-19 lead into intermission. Eleven JCSU players reached the scoring column with Demetria Bell leading the way with 17 points and 15 rebounds. JCSU outrebounded Lincoln, 66-35.
