WILMINGTON, Del. (November 4, 2008) – The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Goldey Beacom College Tuesday night. (BOXSCORE TO BE POSTED WEDNESDAY).

Playing in her penultimate game, senior Donneisha Smith (Milwaukee, WI/Harold S. Vincent) led Lincoln with five kills. Smith also added eight digs. Junior Noel Webster (Hagerstown, MD/Elkton) also contributed five kills for Lincoln (7-21 overall). Goldey Beacom (9-19) won the match, 25-11, 25-14, 25-13. It was Goldey Beacom's second victory over Lincoln this season.

Also for the Lady Lions, senior Jordean Matthews (Pleasantville, NJ/Pleasantville) led everybody with nine digs and two blocks. Sophomore Lia Hubbard (Farrell, PA/Farrell) finished with eight digs.

Lincoln concludes its 2008 season with a road match against West Chester University Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m.
