LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA. (October 30, 2008) – West Chester University extended its winning streak to eight matches by defeating Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, 3-0, Wednesday night at Manuel Rivero Hall. (BOXSCORE)

The Lady Lions celebrated Senior Night as Jordean Matthews (Pleasantville, NJ/Pleasantville), Lindsey Wilson (Aliquippa, PA/Aliquippa) and Donneisha Smith (Milwaukee, WI/Harold S. Vincent) played their final home game after a sterling four-year career. The Golden Rams, who are ranked ninth in the Atlantic region in the latest NCAA/AVCA Division II volleyball rankings, defeated Lincoln, 25-9, 25-9, 25-8.

Smith led Lincoln (7-20) with four kills. Wilson (seven digs) and Matthews (six) combined for 13 digs. Sophomore Lia Hubbard (Farrell, PA/Farrell) added seven assists for Lincoln.

West Chester (22-6) got eight kills from Jenna Burd and seven kills each from Karly Lotkowski and Lacie Becher. Lisa Yeasted registered 24 assists. Overall, WCU finished with 31 kills and 12 service aces.

Lincoln concludes its season next week with road matches against Goldey Beacom (Nov. 4) and West Chester (Nov. 5).
