Morris and Hodge lead Lincoln men at Terrier Invitational with a pair of top 10 finishes

BOSTON, MA. (January 26, 2008) -- Jermaine Morris (Vineland, NJ/Vineland) finished second in the 55-meter hurdles and sixth in the 200-meter dash to highlight a solid afternoon for the Lincoln University of Pennsylvania men's track and field team at the Boston University Terrier Invitational Saturday afternoon. Morris ran 7.51 seconds to earn a silver medal in the 55-meter hurdles and 22.03 seconds in the 200-meter dash.

Overall, Morris was one of three Lincoln athletes to finish in second in their respective events. Freshman Limile Hodge was second in the long jump (22 feet, 11.75 inches) and sophomore Aaron Hunter (Sharon Hill, PA/Academy Park) was second in the triple jump (46-8.75). Hodge was also sixth in the 55-meter dash (6.52 seconds). Senior Lance Wigfall (East Orange, NJ/East Orange Campus) was 10th in the 400-meter dash (48.84 seconds).

The Lincoln men return to action Saturday when it competes at the University of Delaware's Thompson Invitational beginning at 10:00 a,m. in Newark.
