WEST CHESTER, PA (December 9, 2007)- The Lincoln University women's basketball team ended its West Chester Alumni Classic appearance with a 59-31 loss to Millersville University Sunday afternoon at Hollinger Field House. (BOXSCORE)

Freshman Dejuana Mosley, who was named to the WCU Alumni Classic all-tournament team, led the Lions with 10 points. Mosley also grabbed four rebounds and collected one steal. Junior Tanina Cook played a well rounded game for the Lions with seven points, five steals and 10 rebounds.

The Lions also recieved help from senior Asha Atkinson (6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals) and Latoya Thompson (4 points). Sophomore guard Chanelle Harris collected three steals and grabbed two rebounds. Lincoln's defense held Millersville to 18 points in the second half and forced 32 turnovers.

Millersville's Gladien St. Julien paced the Marauders with 12 points and five rebounds. Raquel Green collected 10 points and three rebounds for the Marauners, both players coming off the bench. Millersville had five players with five or more points including Ashley Romanoski, Jenna Philo, Jenna Craig, Julien and Green.

The Lions will return to action Tuesday at Briarcliffe College beginning at 6 p.m. The game can be heard on www.redzonemedia.com with Matt Martucci, the voice of the Lions, calling all of the action.
