Derrick Washington, a native of Washington, D.C., was selected the Lincoln University Male Athlete of the Week. Washington helped lead Lincoln to a pair of CIAA Northern Division wins last week. He averaged 18.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. Washington led the way against Virginia State with a career-high 24 points and tied a career high in rebounds with seven. He was 9-of-11 from the floor shooting, including sinking three 3-pointers.
