LU kicker Brett Arkelian converted on his eighth made field goal of the season from 31-yards out making the game 21-3 at the 12:29 mark in the quarter. Arkelian is the LU single-season record holder for made field goals passing Kyle Jaski's six made in 2012. In addition to his made field goal, Arkelian finished with a career-best ten punts for 364 total yards. He averaged 36.4 yards per punt, had a long of 52 yards, and downed one punt inside the Chowan 20-yard line.
