Denzel Mooney, a native of Baltimore, Md., was named the Lincoln University Male Athlete of the Week. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard was 11-of-22 from the floor in the first two games of the season. He led the team in scoring by averaging 17 points, while pulling down 5.0 rebounds. Mooney scored a season-high 22 points on 7-of-10 shooting against California (Pa.) and followed that performance with 12 points against Clarion in the PSAC-CIAA Conference Challenge.
