Biography

   Young is a member of Delta Theta Sorority Inc. She is returning to the field after a one-year absence. An outstanding defender with a powerful leg. She was a key member of the Lady Lions in 2005 when they set a school record for victories in a season with four (4).
Young’s favorite book is “The Coldest Winter Ever” by Sistah Souljah and she enjoys watching the television show, “Girlfriends.” Her favorite cartoon character is Scooby Doo and she lists Venus Williams as her greatest sports figure. Some of Young’s hobbies include stepping, dancing, shopping, traveling and reading.
    Personal: Young, the daughter of Sharon Young, is the youngest of four siblings: Fletchia, 28, Billy, 24, and Fletcher, 23. Majoring in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
