Alishia Mosley

Alishia Mosley joined the Lincoln University women’s basketball program as an assistant coach ahead of the 2019-20 season. She came to Lincoln after two seasons as a graduate assistant at Fayetteville State.

 
She will work with both guards and post. She will also be responsible for synergy, travel, scouting, recruiting, compliance assistant and any other roles assisting the head coach.
 
In her first season with the Lions, Mosley helped lead Lincoln to a school-record 23 wins. She also helped guide three student-athletes to conference honors, including CIAA scoring leader and Player of the Year Kwanza Murray.

DeAshia Young was named to the 2019-2020 all-conference team, and Janya Lilly to the 2019-2020 all-freshmen team.
Prior to joining the LU staff, Mosley helped lead the Broncos to back-to-back Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division titles. In 2018-19, the Broncos had the third-best defense in the CIAA and ranked 24th among all NCAA Division II teams.
 
Before getting into coaching, she operated her own skill development training, where she helped develop professional, college, and high school players.
 
Mosley was a member of Johnson C. Smith University's women's basketball team, her senior year after starting her career at Division I North Carolina A&T, and Division II Tusculum College.
In her senior year, Mosley, a graduate of Union Pines High School, was named all-state and 2010 District Eight player of the year. She was also a three-time all-conference selection. She was inducted into the Union Pines High School Hall of Fame in 2019.
Mosley received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Johnson C. Smith and received her Masters of Business Administration from Fayetteville State.
