Lincoln University Athletics

Zadaisha Waddell is entering her third season as head coach of the Lincoln University (PA) softball program in 2025-26. She was named the program's second full-time head coach on August 8, 2022.

During her time as head coach, Waddell specialized in the fundamentals and mechanics of the pitching staff, helping them improve their earned run average by more than a run in 2022. Under her leadership, the Lions improved by 11 wins from the 2021 season. Waddell also served as the third base coach at Grambling State University, where she gained valuable experience in game strategy and player development.

Before joining Lincoln, Waddell was a graduate assistant coach at her alma mater, North Carolina A&T. As a player, she was a four-time All-MEAC selection, earning first-team honors as a utility player during her senior year.

Waddell is committed to developing her student-athletes both on and off the field, with a focus on hitting drills, mechanics, and student-athlete retention.
