ABOUT THE LINCOLN UNIVERSITY ONYX DANCE TROOP
The Lincoln University Dance Troop, which started in the year 2000, operates under the Lincoln University Athletics Department. The team is made up of 15 girls and 10 guys. The styles performed are mainly Modern and Hip-Hop. The dance team performs at Pump Handle, Pep Rally, Mr. And Mrs. Lincoln, Spring Fling Concert, L.U basketball games, various talent show and Fashion shows. The team also performs at other various events off campus throughout the school year. Auditions for the dance team take place in early September. Kyaisha Murray has been the captain of the dance team for the past two years and Dwayne Townsend has been the choreographer for the past four years. This is a family and our school is the foundation.
